Check weight scales are most often used to make sure the weight of the product lines up with the weight of the packaging.

Counting Scale

Counting scales are used for really small products in order to weight the products and determine the overall quantity. Counting scales are often used to recheck counting and make sure that the inventory count is correct. For example, it could take some time to count and make sure that a package with 100 screws has the right number of screws inside. It takes a lot less time to weight the package, subtract the packaging weight, and figure out how many items are inside of the package.

Conveyor Scale

Conveyor scales are built into a conveyor system. If your production facility has a conveyor system in place, it can be useful to use. A conveyor scale can be used to weigh boxes and cartons to make sure they are the right weight without slowing down the process of your production facility.
